Virgil Abloh is back with yet another stunning capsule collection for Louis Vuitton, which will bring colour to summer 2021. The lookbook, featuring American rapper 21 Savage, is highlighted with pastel-coloured suits, Hawaiian shorts and shirts, Japanese denims and monogrammed cottons with watercolour tones. The wardrobe is embodied by the casual energy of 21 Savage - in reference to West Coast skaters and artists.

We get to see a revisited Monogram pattern in the collection - in an indigo or rainbow version - as if water drops had fallen on ink. This is unlike anything we’ve seen from the fashion in the past.

Virgil came through with the accessories: backpacks, caps, sneakers and slip-ons, enamelled rings, lucky charms and multicoloured link bracelets to name a few. All of the accessories are enhanced with the same idea behind the Watercolour Monogram, giving the whole collection a sublime finish touch.

Louis Vuitton is conscious of the environment with committing 100% of the brand´s products to an eco-design strategy by 2025. This collection features a colour palette, which was specifically created without chlorine or metals. Additionally, the nylon of windbreakers and other fabrics have been recycled and the cottons used are certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) or the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI).

Stay tuned for the full collection this summer.
