Polestar Helsinki Showroom Takeover to Celebrate the Release of Polestar 4

Polestar invited team Hypend to takeover their showroom, Polestar Helsinki, to celebrate the release of their newest and baddest car yet - the Polestar 4. As we walked into the Polestar Helsinki, we quickly saw how Polestar 4 has redefined the SUV coupé for the era of electric vehicles. This model combines the sleek aerodynamics typical of a coupé with the roominess of an SUV, all enhanced with the latest technology. It features a large 15.4-inch landscape touchscreen and built-in apps that allow for video calls on the go and drone connectivity, positioning the Polestar 4 as much as a cutting-edge gadget as it is a performance vehicle. Its sporty, sharp lines and clear-cut design lend the Polestar 4 a timeless and pure profile in contemporary automotive design.

The Polestar 4 cleverly disguises its overall size through intelligent design, incorporating airflow dynamics around the lower lights into the wheel wells. Positioned between the Polestar 2 and 3, it sports a silhouette and roofline reminiscent of a coupé, yet retains the functionality of an SUV. The Polestar 4 also eliminates the need for regular mechanical servicing, relying instead on over-the-air software updates to keep maintenance minimal and performance optimal.

Interestingly, the Polestar 4 lacks a rear window. To preserve its coupé-like profile while enhancing its SUV capabilities, Polestar replaced the rear window with an enlarged panoramic roof and an HD rear-view camera, enhancing rearward visibility. The interior is designed for comfort on long journeys, featuring front massage seats, reclining rear seats, and a spacious cabin that offers plenty of leg and headroom. It also includes a 16-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system, delivering exceptional audio quality and power with up to 1400W from its channel-hybrid amplifier.

Sustainability is central to Polestar's ethos, and the Polestar 4 showcases the lowest carbon footprint of any Polestar model to date. By utilizing responsibly sourced materials and implementing eco-friendly innovations, Polestar significantly reduces the environmental impact and overall emissions during the vehicle's lifecycle. The introduction of new materials such as 100% recycled Tailored knit, comparable to high-quality athletic footwear, redefines what 'premium' means in this new age.

Detailed tech specs of the Polestar 4 can be found online but for those who are interested - the “full spec” Polestar 4 Long range Dual motor with Performance pack stunts numbers, such as a range of 620km, 400 kW / 544 hp of power, and 686 Nm of torque.
